Alfonso Palazuelos Cobo

Alfonso was also born and raised in the Cantabrian Mountains. From a very young age, he was interested in all things related with the ecology and nature. This led him to study Environmental Sciences and later complete a Master´s degree in Quternary. This training has allowed him to gain in-depth knowledge of the two main fields of naute: geology and biology. He is also the author of two scientific publications, one on the evolution of the Ebro Delta and another on the distribution of an extinct genus of crocodiles in Europe, the Diplocinodons. For over 15 years, he has led ecoturism groups, of various nationalities, both in the Palencia Mountains and in other parts of the world like a Canda, USA, Poland, Rumania, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. He speaks English and Spanish.
