Mukesh Hirdaramani

Mukesh is WildWings' principal leader in Sri Lanka and has been leading on our tours for many years. He has been passionate about the wildlife of his native Sri Lanka since he was young and has now spent many years guiding both mammal and bird-focussed trips and is considered an expert on the former. Mukesh is also very passionate about Sri Lanka’s culture and history and enjoys sharing this knowledge with those who join his tours.

Mukesh holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and currently is a student at the Colombo Open University where he is carrying out further studies in Wildlife Management and Conservation.

He is a life member of the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka and also a wildlife photographer and will happily share his knowledge and expertise with others. His friendly disposition makes him a sought out travelling companion.
