Moacir Fortes Pereira Junior

Moacir is a native of the city of Manaus, the capital of the Amazonas state of Brazil, and has been working in ecotourism for almost entire life as his father was a pioneer in this field many years ago. 

Often known to his friends and colleagues as “Junior” or “Mojo”, Moacir is a highly knowledgeable expert on the wildlife of his home area.  Whilst his main expertise is birds and primates, his knowledge also extends to the reptiles, insects and plants of his ‘home patch’.

Junior takes great pleasure in imparting his experience with those who travel with him and he has now been working with WildWings for over a decade on our Amazon wildlife cruises.
